[hometext] => This poem portrays the search for the mysterious golden city of El-Dorado by European explorers in 18th century.Countless explorers died in the Amazons during the search and the golden kingdom is still waiting to be discovered.
[bodytext] => The parched ancient Incan legend never seem to end,
there still exists in some cunning Amazon bend, among some sparkling mysterious domains, within those harsh unexplored terrains, guarded by virgin greenery and poisonous snakes, encircled by mired trecherous lakes, a hidden kingdom old and bold, richly encrusted in hypnotic gold, so much so to trigger an evil lust, to conquer that strange, eluding tribe, bathing with glee in gold dust. The search unleashed actions so prolific, gold turned into an uncontrolled epidermic. Hugely armed expeditions with people at their best, took the challenge as a heavenly test. The harsh climate played tropical, wet and bad, the brave toiled on undaunted and iron clad. The lust had begun it's horrible ravages, soon they had become cultured savages. As nature played it's chilling deadly tease, most perished; putrified by many a desease. As usual; time again wipes the past, to write the present on it's golden sand, leaving a message;a little too bland, there is always an unexplored 'El-Dorado' in every known land.
