[title] => Knowledge - The key to wisdom
[time] => 2011-03-21 03:26:14
[hometext] => This poem is about the tender state of humanity and how values are difficult to teach to such a large population. It is about sharing knowledge, love, and truth, and the pursuit of happiness personally and throughout society.
[bodytext] => So fragile and tender, our virtues... eroding, Like crumbling sand, upon the waves we are floating, The fabric of life… it pitches and sways, A lumbering craft, on the sea of today, The search for true love… a noble ambition, Stolen from many by greed and attrition, We search all our lives, for what we don’t need, And then we refuse to plant a new seed, Of knowledge and truth, to educate youth, And slowly we find… that they become blind, Some see only pleasure, unaware of the world, And without awareness… disaster unfurls.
