In my heart it stays the same
Solitude a solace,alone a deep despair
Along the path of life
Lightly trodden my path alone I walk
Knowledge reaches out , darkness all about
Memories like chasms of light
Hang baubles shining bright
To be a glimpse for me

Lonely shadow in black
Yet not alone, figure walks
Solitude and dark
Wraps around like a cloak
Comfort and peace
Tranquility in its beauty
Perfect peace, knowledge seek
The find held in a bauble bright

Feeling not of despair, it no longer ventures there
Calmness, not of sorrow, not of pain
Along the path they disappear
Fear does not loom, the path you walk alone
Oneness, whole, apart of nature, love is found
Creatures, air,earth,on the path abounds
Love comes, you are part,of some vast life
Your path you walk, now never alone

From the suffering beyond and above
The torment, pain endured now
Of which no man will ever know
Your path and destiny you walked alone
Questions ever,never answered
From the very pain of your soul

All you have endured now it continues on
In its place to be given love of creatures
Big and small, nature, beauty can not escape
The feelings now as you walk alone, yet not

Alone yet not, a figure dressed in black
Do I hear or see, feel or breathe, aware and know
Yet not been told, apart I walk, yet with you still
Born from suffering you cast me out
Now I walk a path, where one small feather falls
A breeze upon my face,a glimpse, a smile
Tranquility and peace walks with me,along the dark path given to me.
With my memories, held in bright baubles of light.
