Darkness descended,
Clouded perspective,
No longer objective,
Know it makes for good reading,
But I'm left reeling,
I'm all knotted inside,
'cause all that I've tried,
Has left me,with this same empty feeling.

I can't fault your decision,
Will give no derision,
You want to be free,
When you look,you see,
I'm an inmate,bleak,
Stuck in my prison,
Four walls my children,
My cellmate my strife,
The warden my life,
I'm doing time, for just being me.

Yet they say times the cure,
But I'm unsure,
'cause unlike before,
Your worth it,
Your perfect,
Your intelligence,
Benevolence,
Presence,
And sheer beauty,
Still imbues me,
With an ambivalent smile.

Wonderful flow to this. Brilliantly said and there is so much
in here I relate to. Second stanza really blew me away.

Exceptional post!

This is exceptional writing. You seem to get stronger and stronger, this flows so smoothly, very well done.
