Array ( [sid] => 164394 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Our Dear Friend [time] => 2011-01-22 15:01:20 [hometext] => I dedicate this poem to Rosemary, our friend and mentor. [bodytext] => Today we have learned
a dear friend has passed away
Allowing us to set here
having not many words to say

Stunned and shocked
about this news we hear
The passing of our friend
made us shed a tear

It is times like this
when memories start to flow
It reminds us
about things from not so long ago

For the kids of Middle Falls
Rosemary was like a mother to them all
Always going to her house
always had a ball

Rosemary
you haven’t gone very far.
As we look into the sky
we can see your shining star

We understand you have left us
and have gone to a better place
As time goes on
we will never forget your face

Rest in peace
our dear, dear friend
We surely know
to the heavens your spirit did ascend.

Not saying goodbye
means from us you never did part
The wonderful person you were
you’ll forever be in our heart
