The world put to a light rest
The moon is slowly arising
Over the mountain's high crest

Creatures of the night start stirring
The line between days starts blurring
Those of the day cower in fear
They can sense a deadly war is near

Fly, young devils
May Death guide your way
Making a path most disheveled
With nothing more to say

May the Dark Lord bless you
On your journey of the Earth
As night approaches true
And the time of the Moon's birth

Kill as you see fit
My frisky little kit
Destroy all that breathes
Murder all that seethes

Follow the wayward path
Innocent minds lay dead
Listen to the Dark Lord laugh
Hear it ring in your head

Allow me to speak
Before you even take a peek
The world is under attack
Of creatures of a shadowy black

Fear not, cowardly beings of the day
Your life will be spared of death
Just do as I choose to say
And you will still draw breath

Wait until the sun falls high
Wait until the last cry
Once the beat of wings is quiet
When there is no sound of riot

Creep out of your hiding spot
Avoid anything that seems too hot
Try to breathe through the thick black smoke
And please, I'm begging you, don't choke

The Devil has enough on his mind

Very dark. COuld be used as song lyrics......accompanied by dark doom like instrumentals.....reminds me of the old Black Sabbath....Interesting write.
