Array ( [sid] => 164175 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Forgiveness [time] => 2011-01-09 02:35:51 [hometext] => Ever Been Threatened With Hell? Well I Decided That Even Though I'm Not A Christain, I Would Give My Opinion of What Hell Truly Is. [bodytext] => Oh My Dear Beloved
I've Watched From Far Away
I've Seen You Straying Here And There
And Hoped You'd Soon Return
Yet the Decision Was Never Made
And I Was Forced to Punish You
Understand It's Not My Fault
I Tried to do What I Could,
But I Was Rendered Powerless
By Your Lack of Faith in Me
It Hurt Me Then And It Hurts Me Now
To Have To Show This World Unto You
For If I Don't I Fear You'll Never Learn
May This Make You a Better,
Cleaner, And Stronger You
Understand That I Know Your Pain,
Know That It Will Come To Peak
I've Seen And Felt It Myself
But When the Fear, Pain, And Darkness,
Approach Their Apex,
I Will Rescue You
Frightened You May Be,
But I Will Be Holding You
For It Was Never Meant To Be,
An Everlasting Pit of Pain,
But a Time To Help You Learn,
That I Could Within Ability,
Give You Such a Place [comments] => 6 [counter] => 250 [topic] => 11 [informant] => xHeathenx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

The soul must pass through the dark night to emerge from it renewed and transformed for the better......like the phoenix....rising from the ashes.....well written.

There are times we feel compelled to do things we are well aware will cause the greatest pain to the one we hold so dear. before, during, and after- we know we shouldn't. ...the end, justifies the means. is it worth it? =(

This reminds me of a movie I love where the hero pretends to capture, and tortures a friend in order to free her from her fears. A very dark way to create a stronger person.

Very good. To forgive is to heal.
