Everything in the world will freeze
You pulled me back to the days of light
I finally notice it's too bright
I'm holding back, you see
You'll be the death of me
I yearn for your touch
But I know it's too much
I know your unreachable
This is all a sick fable
A twisted version of reality
A promise of fatality
The truth will be revealed
After the last bell has pealed
In my ears there is ringing
As the choir keeps on singing
My hands clench in fists
As I slowly become ticked
Your lips caress hers
My stomach starts to churn
Your grab a handful of her hair
A blistering pain I can't bare
And as you pull back for a breath
I start to plan out your death
She squealed with a shrill voice
This was your second choice?
She said three words and beamed
I guess your not as smart as you seemed
I swallow all my pain and longing
For in my heart you are not belonging
You are the wind and I am the tree
Hit me hard an you'll break me
My branches have fallen
My leaves are dead
The angels are callin'
So I rest my head [comments] => 2 [counter] => 237 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Depression-chan [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

A gut wrenching piece. Full of pain and sorrow. I love the flow
of this and the emotion is impeccable. And I especially love,

"My branches have fallen
My leaves are dead"

So painfully beautiful ~
