A look inside the mind of…

I slit my wrist from end to end,
I let go of what might have been.
Into the air I set my spirit free,
No longer is there life inside of me.
Too much pain for one to bear,
Tired of living with this amount of care.
To end it all is my way out of time,
From these memories that haunt my mind.
Don’t cry for me for this was my choice,
Why listen now to this ending voice.
Just release me to the wind,
So I don’t have to deal with life again.
Some might say I took the easy way out,
But for me it was the only route.

 This poem was written not to glamorize suicide, to the contraire,
it is a look inside the mind of a person who feels so desperate that they feel taking their own life is the only way out. This poem looks at those very thoughts.

I really like this poem...i havent read part two yet...but i will..i really liked the fact...that you are so open with this poem and to really understand why someone would feel and even think about suicide ...its really refreshing to have someone be able to comprehend both sides of a "HOT TOpic"
So i like it ...i give it props...good job
