That when perusing one has achieved
And though we continue to look
It seems we may have mistook
The real value in what we seek
It could take a year, month or a week
To realise our plight, and yet still
We continue to thirst for the fill

The path to seek and find
That ties the hand of mankind
But what pleasure it does bring
To capture and find can make you sing
The release of emotion will intensify
When consumed or lost man will cry
Only to continue the search
Never able to rest on his perch

What I get from this is man's constant need to explore and seek new things. Never able to just be happy with what is. I love the message. Appreciation for what one has is sadly a rare thing.
