[bodytext] => Wrapp'd in sweet warmth I send you off to find yourself
Kiss'd on the forehead, I know you won't cry
I would be sad if you hadn't cursed our ground
I would be sad if I still craved your life

Check through your pockets to feel tickets smooth as ice
Go through your bag for your clean underwear
I sit and smile, awaiting my sweet alone
I sit and smile, a plain, hidden dare

You step aside, a lingering catch clear in your eyes
You turn to leave, still begging to stay
I wouldn't care to see your evident regret
I wouldn't care for I want you away [comments] => 3 [counter] => 222 [topic] => 52 [informant] => Song_of_Sarah [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry )

the perfect poetic frame for dishonest partners to wilful adolescents. My favourite phrases 'my sweet alone'and that 'plain, hidden dare'will stay with me. Well captured.

The picture. The expressions of faces described to perfection. The emotion...or should I say almost lack-there-of is intense. Good one!!!!
