But refreezing will not preserve...

I've never felt the temperature great enough to melt.
But boy, you melt my skin.
We're hot enough to burn anything I ever felt.
You're not in it for the win.
I'm not in it for the sin.
Nothing could go wrong.
I just want to sing along...
With the wind
And everything I've ever felt.
I don't want to end.
Let's begin.
But I don't want to melt
And lose everything I ever felt.
With sinking in,
We will begin
To erase everything I ever felt
And we'll lose everything within our skin
And everything we're taking in.
The goal is not to melt.
The goal is to keep everything I've ever felt
In sync with everything you've ever felt
Without the risk of bogus melt
In a world full of melted stains, melted veins,
Melted love and razor blades.
Did you know that we are all that remains?

Beautiful story...it seemed sort of bitter sweet. Great Job!

Lovely dark, in depth piece, I like.
