Because I think of you, I think of you opening your front door on a cold night, I think of you turning the key and taking your coat off,

I think of you waking in the morning and rubbing your eyes, and looking out of the window in your all too familiar room..

I think of your body, beautiful, and your skin, white as the winter.

I think of your job, and what you will do today, who you will meet, where you will eat

I think of your family, and old photo's of you as a baby, so happy and innocent..

I think of the food you will eat, all these years later... are you the same? Do you still go to that same shop, and that same pub?

I think of you talking to people like you do, loving people like you do. tenderly, with shyness, with care.

I think of a past where we were together, the moments etched on my brain, walking with you through cobbled streets in the snow... i think of you and it sends me to a happy sleep.

I think of you, who left me, and forgot me, and not of him, in my bed as I write, with his lavish gifts and his endless love..

This is how I know...

she thinks of you too. But she will never share that. just because. a road traveled down is best remembered for the good views, keep your eyes on the road ahead. You may miss something wonderful

We all have those moments when we think of past loves. Try to live in the present and remember no one is perfect. We often look at the past through rose colored glasses.
