A foreign ride trying not to be consumed by
alleyways and diverse intentions of cold stares

Friends grinning quietly high above a sunrise as
each individual feels something new and pure

Wrinkle free reflections in this mirror of present
existence remind us we can evolve if we choose

The acceptance of pain from a decision made
outside normality brings experience for all eternity

We have years to make money and pretend
those future bills won’t strangle color from gray

I love this poem, it is full of depth of character. It flows beautifully. I really enjoy your work, it is amongst some of the best on this site. Well done.

Wow you last line really has a lot of depth and truth in it. It is acceptance and pain that really shapes people and gives them life experience. Making decisions "outside normality" is a very important part of life.
