My Fort of Pain

I have build up a fort, not with bricks or blocks
But with words strong enough that won't be knock down
Words that know the meaning of hatred, and relate to a heartache
Spread from the cold dungeon to the highest tower of my very citadel

Wow...just wow. This is like words from my own mind while I was drinking and I had erected my own barrier between me and the rest of the world, but mine was like a one-way mirror: I was a spectator of life, not a participant.

Glad that horror is behind me :)
