As the cold winds sigh and the endless seasons change,
The flowers pale and the leaves will fall,
Silently blanketing our forgotten footprints.

There comes always a time for leaving,
Those golden memories of lost innocence,
The picture of children, playing, laughing beneath the sun,
Friendships marked with hopes and love,
Yet stained too, with pain, tears and fears,
Unnoticed, slowly fading to a slumbering dust.

There comes always a time for farewell,
There’ll always be time for grieving,
Of wishing that the stars will forever shine,
But darkness will fall,
And those gazing eyes will see their light no more.
Yet, like the moon that returns with every cycle,
There comes always a time to move one,
A new spring where the otters will lazily splash once more,
And where the daisies, half-hidden will peak out through the fresh, green grass.

Lose not hope my friend,
Do not yet give up all for lost.
In times of trouble,
Step away and lie back,
Turn ye to the sky,
And search for the angel wings.
Of delayed arrival they may be,
But soon they will make the heavens glitter,
With their shimmering faerie wings.
Do not cloud your eyes with despair or hate,
For fear of missing this magical sight,
For there will always be,
A new beginning,
For every end.

Inspirational to the core as it motivates one to reach out and hold on for better times. Another poem written with beauty and grace.
