Array ( [sid] => 163641 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Slow Down Baby Girl [time] => 2010-12-10 18:30:17 [hometext] => i havent got married or graduated yet but if my dad coud write poetry im sure it would go a little something like this..... [bodytext] => theres a little girl, shes in her own little world
sitting in a little chair, with a little bow in her hair

a crayola sixty four pack, and a pink barbie backpack
states her numbers one to ten, and wants to write in pen

its time to slow down baby, you're journey is still on play
love and cherish free memories, always flee from treachery
keep your dreams and fantasies, smell the best daisies
your moving too fast, its too soon to create a past

shes sitting in her first car, she has come so far
tears come to her eyes, its amazing how time flies

she blows out sixteen flames, they're kodak frames
its a sad happy day, watching as she drives away

its time to slow down baby, you're journey is still on play
love and cherish free memories, and flee from treachery
keep the dreams and fantasies, smell the best daisies
your moving too fast, its too soon to create your past

she walks the stage up and down, in a cap and gown
dont worry you done your part, you gave her a headstart

five years in white she stands, they're holding each others hands
who knew this was the day, he would give his daughter away

now i cant controll your pace, you're ahead in the race
i see a little girl in a tutu, everytime i look at you
im the one cherishing memories, and fighting the bees
i wont let you forget about me, i send you daisies

This is awesome.
You really do have a great insight to your father.
Keep up the great work.
You have a very unique way of writing that I find refreshing.
Blessings, smiles,
emy

Touching, almost felt like a happy father myself, but then realized I'm much too young. Deserves to be a song.
