once more you silenty crept in
and rested inside my thoughts
then left once more with the wind.

Decemember rains began to fall
the wind tossed dead branches around.
A storm oh yes a storm
kind of like the one inside my heart.

I walked for a while in the wind and rain
it began to sting my skin.
Watching dead leaves swirl from ground to sky
listening to the howling haunted wind.

I thought of you again today
then in the winds those thoughts softly drifted....away
a storm oh yes a raging Decemember storm
stiring with my heart.......

The imagery you used is excellent and there is a haunting feeling to your words. You painted a storm beautifully and this was a pleasure to read.

I absolutely love this poem, especially the very first stanza. It also sort of reminded me of something that happened at work last night but I'll save the rest of that for a pm on another day.

Great work, Michelle!

I absolutely LOVE this piece. I can feel the intensity and the storm on my stinging skin, and the storm in my heart. :)
