Is it absurd, or a disgrace? To have these thoughts that’s so debase.

It seems perception has done its deed, but my words you have to heed,
The way you think; there is no need. Though your thoughts I may accede.

It’s a pain that dwells within, that takes my soul for all my sin,
And leaves this wound so deep herein— where heart and love at once had been.

I’ve seen some sorrows that make me cold— a broken heart made that fourfold.
Maybe my love was undersold, nevertheless it’s uncontrolled.

The trials of life has made its affliction and struck me down with no restriction,
Its feels just like my crucifixion and left me with this drug addiction.

My joy in life was all I had; please don’t judge quickly for I’m not bad.
And even though it seems I’m mad, deep inside I’m truly sad.

Wow. You can feel the torment throughout this piece and there is plenty of emotion described in an intelligent manner. A very well written poem and a nice read.
