Last thoughts

Topic: Lifepoems

As your purpose narrows,
You take the slings and arrows,
Contemplate your legacy,
Reflect on who you used to be,
Gamble on the earths rotation,
Left with solemn contemplation,
To utter your last with dignity,
I lived remember me?

It is not long, but the whole depth and beauty of the writing is there. I really like this. Good job.

This poem is very personal to me. You have gotten to the core of it! I often contemplate my legacy...and, alas, am not impressed with it-at least not at the present. "Gamble on the earth's rotation..."what a clever and insightful metaphor you came with. And then, "I lived...remember me?" What a heartbreaking and powerful line! You can only get better at writing..perhaps it will be your legacy...and I swear to God...I WILL remember you!

Insightful and pure wisdom bleeds the pages. What an outstanding write. Taking a look down the line wondering where all of this takes you. Beautifully done.

Well written with a original delivery and it is
well received. Never forget who you are and
in the end that’s all you will ever be and will
never be forgotten. Thanks for the words
and keep them up. Steve
