This Past Hour or So

Contributed by theancientone on Sunday, 28th November 2010 @ 12:31:17 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

i am sick
mentally sick
with the thing called love.
i am overwhelmed
please will you make it stop?
it's my medicine though.
the things are going too quickly.
everything is blamed on everything
it's always nothing's fault.
my days: already done
my days: never begun
in the mirror: who is that?
no idea. ever.
all my actions, why do i?
relax, calm, pet the Jack Russell
on the living room carpet
in a patch of sun.
with her collar off.
eat some breakfast.
take a shower.
pick up your room, and begin studying.
go to church? no.
it's still too early
things are too good to be true.
things are too bad to be forgiven.
still i know who God is at least
and we have infinite love
it is taken advantage of completely.
what will teach me?
what tragedy will happen?
my essence of self is strong
but then it is immediately weakened
by love.
new friends? yes
new friends? too much effort.
be productive? yes
be productive? too much effort.
everything is too balanced.
pick up your head
swallow your pride
look forward
make friends
work hard
enjoy it
become a doctor for yourself

Sounds like you are doing a self analysis.
You realized that your not there for show but to help those in need.
Great job.
Welcome to YPDC.
blessings,
emy
