Array ( [sid] => 163433 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Stay With US [time] => 2010-11-26 13:33:07 [hometext] => I wrote this poem shortly after my son Tristyn's death five months ago. He was very young and it was and continues to be very hard for me. We love you Baby Boy. [bodytext] => In times like these there are no answers to find.
You whisper over and over again dear God please tell us why.
He was only with us for several days,
Yet our hearts are broken just the same.
Why did he have to be taken away,
When he just barely came?

God please tell us why
Our Baby Boy just couldn't stay.

Did you need him there with you?
Is he by your side?
Can he hear the words that we pray?
Does he know how much we cried?

I wish I could be with him one more time,
But he has already gone to heaven.
And so now we are left behind,
With only the memory that was left of him.

Stay with us Baby Boy... Please don't go.
Your mama and I need you, ya know.

Stay with us Baby Boy, find a place in our hearts,
From there promise you will never depart.

Stay with us Baby Boy,
Your mama and I cannot wait to see you again.
So, dear God, please, if you can,
For just a moment, let our Baby Boy listen,
Daddy loves you Baby Boy.
Someday your mama and I will be with you Tristyn.

This made me all teary-eyed. I can tell this came
straight from the heart. I am so sorry for your
loss. This is a beautiful poem, though.
I am sure he's up there waiting for you...
Hope all is well,
Love,
T_U

I know the awful feeling that death brings, and your poetry has inspired me to write this poem. I hope that you find peace.

Death it comes with bitter tears,
with dying hope, and unspent years,
to take away our loved ones who,
we have a fond attachment to.

And In the end you will see,
that time will fade its memory,
but life will always be this way,
some will go and some will stay,

But listen to my words so true,
we will never forget you.
