I hear the pounding in my ears again
I see the room start to shake
And feel the anger I’m drowning in.

I run to my room, so no one can see
The monster that’s become of me
I lock the door, pull out my knife
Wishing for the bravery to just end my life

I strike myself with the blade
Perhaps my arm, perhaps my leg
The blood runs down, onto the floor
But I just keep cutting, more and more

Finally I hear you calling for me
I’m jerked back to a world, in which I shouldn’t be
I start to breathe again, in great heavy gasps
And search for an explanation different from the last

My hands are still shaking
As I slowly return to you
You ask me why I’m shaking
I tell you to get a ***** clue

Then the yelling starts
As your anger rises too
I’m telling you, you’re wasting your time
Because no one will ever know the truth.
