The fact that my love is strong,
Another reason why I can't be wrong.

To be with you is what I want,

A day that I thought would never come,
A day that would be a bridal one.

People think it should not be,
People should not marry interracially
But look at what shall be
A day we walk down the aisles,
You and me.

The love between you and me is great,
It’s the truth between you and me I hate,
The fact that no one knows
Is a fact that I will never show.

I think about you day and night,
I think about you any time I might,
The fact that my love is strong,
Another reason why I can't be wrong.

To be with you is what I want,
To be with you is what I sought,
A day that I thought would never come,
A day that would be a bridal one.

People think it should not be,

YOu keep right on writing. I felt this poem and to me that makes it poetry.
