With all humbleness
let me ask you something to
ponder upon before I go,
depart this life, slowly
but surely;
“What would you do,
when your domiciles invaded,
your beloved fall prey
for malicious poachers
bullet spray…
what would you do?
…what would you do?”

Mighty may be my manifestation,
humble is my soul,
tough may be my huge tusks,
pretty and frank are my thoughts,
I walk the path with
my head held high,
for spotless is my heart;
at times I may act out bizarre
‘nd batty, for, this flawed world
hurl me into a mindless rogue folly.

Very, very, deep thinking and writing.
It's really sad when some one takes an animal from it's own habitat and puts him on display like this.

Hi FRANCO,

This is such fine questiioning, it really got me old ticker a'ticking & brain a'smoking. Thank you for the time well spent. ;)
I've often wondered what certain animals would say if they could speak to us &/or converse & how I would feel about what they expressed, because that's always a two-way street,
Not just what's expressed but how it's interpreted & also perceived constitutes an understanding & proliferates the evolution of all involved( (or the demise, there of, depending on the direction of growth, at the time.) So, that said, I find it irresistable & intriguing to ponder the minds, verbage & even the accents or voices of other creatures in all their glories & strife. Also, what do you think their sense of humor might be like. . . & what would it lead to if we could communicate all the time, or atleast in times of great turmoil or joy.
What would they profess to think of us & how many characteristics that we presume to be human would we find manifest in them.
Questioning could go on for ever. Alas, we may never know. God is great & has chosen this ahead of time for us. In his infinite wisdom & kindness, he has left it up to the individual to delve deeper, to actually look into another creature's eyes, when inter-acting, to empathise & to surrender & even to give one's self up to a subtler distinguishing, . . be it compassion or amazement, respect or reverence.

I find elephants to be such amazing creatures. I love the way you characterized them as sweet, gentle beings, though their exterior is rough. Truly beautiful.
