[bodytext] => You're just a stranger I know you no longer I look at pictures and I see Just a stranger staring back at me I try and listen for your voice I only hear noise I close my eyes and remember your touch But all I feel is coldness Who are you? You aren't the boy I once knew A alien in your place You have the same hazel eyes That crooked smile is no different The cold look in your eyes is what I see That smile was never meant for me Where have you gone? I can't remember the sweet things you used to say I only hear the spiteful words on replay I can't remember when you were near I can only feel the tears. The feeling of hope is gone I only feel wronged What have I done? Do you remember me? The girl that used to brighten your day The girl you talked hours with every night The girl whose first kiss you stole The girl who gave you her heart and soul Do you even care? All these questions swimming through my mind How our hands intertwined so perfectly, as if meant to be You pulled away, breaking my heart You walked away when things got tough You were clueless to the obvious You never saw the hurt on my face The tears pooling in my eyes Would it have made a difference? Would you have kept your promise?
