It tells of a giant stag, said to be the biggest in the UK, shot by poachers. Is there no end to man's destructive ways? [bodytext] => The great stag, noble and majestic roamed free
Across the vast wild Devon moor,
But now reality has blighted this freedom for me
And shaken my world to it's very core.

For to this moor the hunters came
With knives and guns and an arrogant frown
And here they played their macho game
Killed and gutted and returned in triumph to the town.

And once again man's unjust pursuit of the living,
His lust and hatred openly displayed,
Leaves me down and quite unforgiving
Of the hell on earth that man has made. While reading this passage,
I felt your frustration as it was my own
I, like yourself ,see man for what he is
And always hope we one day
see our image as it truly is
and suffer as the inncoent have
to make us change our way's
strong, clearly spoken passage
Truly compelling

Dennis I can feel your anger sadness and pain and share the frustration of our lack of respect for Nature, one day Nature will have the last say no doubt meanwhile through writing such as yours there is still a voice that is trying to be heard well written

Hi Dennis,

I too saw the story unfold on TV and like yourself
had to ask the question ...... WHY?
But I think I know why - as much as we like to
create we also enjoy the power to destroy.
If one has no soul how can he recognise the
soul in others?

Sad, but well versed.

Tommy

Yes, yet another sad news report of man's inhumanity. Well said.
