Some people will always leave an indelible mark on your life [bodytext] => Today a melody rang out in my head
Pure and vibrant, beacon against the blackened soul of the world
Blaze of light, shining in the deep canyons of the self obsessed
Sweet and open like the dew soaked first flower of spring

Harp strings play lullabye across my heart
Harmony bestowed, in your presence I am cradled in inspiration
Bathed in admiration, in awe of your serenity and purity of thought
My mind intoxicated by the essence of you

You pour your wealth in my spirit veins
Refill and replenish, breathe fire from the ashes of dark human nature
Calming and soothing, hours with you blink by like the shutter of a camera
In moments of solitude, rekindled by your silhouette

I have called a truce with the human race
Faith restored, watched the shine glisten once more on tarnished ideals
I can smile, not from vain attempt to fool the unwise or unwilling to see past veneer
But from your warmth and the glow you re-awakened inside. Steve, as per usual, your words have capured my imagination and could feel what you wrote.
Didnt want the poem to end - you always write from your heart and it shows.

Well dear Steve this is a beautiful, powerful write.
You forgot to tell us who it is, smiles.
It's always great to see a new write from you.
Awesome.
big huggs, smiles, blessings,
emy
