[hometext] => While walking on the mountain yesterday I saw six wild geese on the lake, the wind got up and rippled the water. Everything seemed to double on the water. Read on if you will.
[bodytext] => Six wild geese gliding slowly. Ghost birds buoyed by the smooth water, Each a shadow of the other. A wind is restless, Serenading the rushes of the mountain lake. Evening sunshine eases the pain of summer's ending. For a moment the air stills But then the wind raises and with a loud pop The water is shattered, like the mirror of my imagination, Into a million micro chards And the six geese become twelve, Each watching the other's other self, Following without question, the other's image. And then the wind eases back to a soft breeze, The water reforms, my mind clears, And the twelve become six again.
