I cannot shake this feeling all I want to do is cry.
I know a storm is coming and I trust you to see us through.
Keep your hand in mine, give us strength, help us be true.
It is all within your hands,in you I place my trust.
You are Lord over all, from our birth back to the dust.
I pray for peace upon him so that his journey goes swiftly.
Keep your hands upon him, wrapped in your love Lord set him free.
I wish this not to happen, may your will be done not mine.
No matter what the outcome,I know he will be just fine.
Lift him up to Heaven,I can't wait to see him walk and run.
I know we've had our troubles but I am glad to be his son.
I pray to you Lord give him peace,at his death be glorified.
Let your strength be represented,Let your name be lifted high.
I want him to not hurt anymore,It hurts my heart to see his pain.
Except him with arms open wide, within your presence to remain.
Call him home in peace,Let him not be troubled at his death.
Let him lay his head down peacefully and wake up in your rest.
I want him to remain but I know with you he'll be made whole.
Let your will be done,I trust in you,You're in control.
There are no coincidences,You must go when I call you.
It is all within my hands, through his death I've seen him through.
Just know that he's here with me,in my hand wrapped in my grace.
You think he smiled before,He wishes you could see his face.
He wants you to know he's standing tall,he says,Man it's been some years.
I now stand without a walker,That I might fall I have no fears.
He wants you to know he's happy,He no longer feels alone.
He thinks you for your love and all the kindness that was shown.
He wants to say he's sorry,He never meant to cause you pain.
He loved you in his own way,His tears of joy he can't contain.
He is so proud of you,He says his sons are now real men.
He says he will be with you,he lives in your memories of him.
I will see you soon until then I'll be right here.
Walking these streets of gold, praising in a voice that's clear.
Do not give in children, keep on fighting and be strong.
Give me glory, praise my name,To the Lord you do belong.
His work on earth is finished, his praise to me will never cease.
He is walking in my glory, resting in the Valley of my Peace.
