[hometext] => A brief of my life and a 'disclaimer' of sorts to those who may not know that I care about them
[bodytext] => I may not be the talkative one, I might not say I'm having fun. I look upset, mad, or dumb but on the inside I am a sun. Some wonder why I do not speak but would you? If there was no one to hear, No one to relate to after a day in silent hell. For countless years I've done my time in this hell of mine, though I could not say for what crime. I could not say but now I'm free, that's all that matters now But still I am bowed, Crippled yet lingering on. Stuck trying to fix what broke long ago A little at a time, not much farther to go. and until that day I will hold my breath and take it, I will bear my burden until it is gone, It's the only real way for me to move on. I've been lucky as of late, For in the darkness a bright light shines. Guiding me home, the thought is divine. Before I am labeled as depressed and dead, I have a disclaimer to place in my stead For fear that those who care may eventually turn their head. The message is simple and might seem simply a lie: When you cannot see it on my face, and it seems as though the fire has gone out, I really am burning the brightest inside. yavrule, PLEASE: To help keep this site INTERACTIVE, please read and comment on at least 3 poems for each one you submit.
