Array ( [sid] => 162585 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The origin of sin [time] => 2010-10-01 08:32:40 [hometext] => A soul in hell crosses paths with Lucifer and they begin to converse on many issues. [bodytext] => " I sat by the rapture, immersed in thought,
Shackled by oppressive weight that sin had wrought,
Voices I heard, faces I could not see,
Had taken their wretched, loathsome toil's alongside me,
Men, women, and even children grasped at my feet while we were ushered away from the lake,
Their faces told of a torment unequal in parallel, a solemn creature held vigil with a face I could not make,
A chaotic scene of carnage, indiscernible cries, and entities that shrieked with delight,
At the torment's of other's, the mania they instilled within every lash told a story of a sinner's plight,
Had this been merely a dream?
I tried countless times to awaken to no avail,
A surreal realm that permeated within the depths of mankind's atrocities would serve as the wound undaunted by the blood of the holy grail,
Chained together from our wrists and our ankles; we were marched to part's unknown to the human mind or eye,
What was this dark hostile place with the venomous entities that roamed the marshes and blackened the sky?
Animal life held space within these grounds as well; maligned faces replaced their once congenial earthly disposition,
A gathering of wild dog's had bounded after a naked woman that stumbled and now lay defenseless; they ravaged her flesh without remorse or fear of contrition,
darkness coalesced with organized chaos; an act of rebellion by a flock led to the creation of this spiritual grave,
All that walked along the fiery lakes, trudging through the marshes, or smoldering coals had the defeated disposition akin to ghastly slaves,
The voices became more distinct, separation of woman from man, man from child, child from animal could be discerned,
The deeper I was led the more profoundly clear the clamoring had captivated my senses; their plea's were better left unheard,
I had grown to accept this interpretation of what I thought to had been a dream as my newfound abode,
Welcome to all of the vile, debaucherous, deceitful, miscreant's that had defiled the omega and divine tenet's, now to reap what they had sewed,
To what final place of judgment were we being led? Was there a place or punishment far greater than this?
To what extent could a soul endure torment? Was it not enough to have been denied our creator's forgiving kiss?
What of the figure that has followed us all, like a vulture circling a corpse from high above-reveal your face!
What is this shadowy form that bask's in the shadow's within the confides of terror that distract's from its presence in this rancid place?
"Question not my presence, but your own. Once mortal being, you hold no precedence here, this realm is beyond your simple comprehension,
This dwelling has been created to administer the punishment of sin, therein lies the fear within your apprehension"
The voice spoke and held all within proximity transfixed in their path,
A voice that momentarily benumbed all held dominion over all from fear of its wrath,
"Who or what are you?
Have you lurked in the shadows observing and calculating to the point of apathy?
Reveal your curious wandering eye's; allow the liberty of clarity to disrobe your ingnoble intention's; approach affably,
"Do not mistake courage with foolishness, in this abyss you are at my mercy; disowned by your own creator,
I once had full reign of the heaven's and stood within the proximity of the designer;until I was labeled an ingrateful dictator,
Casted out for the crime of procuring knowledge, I implored other's to question their divine conception,
A few stood by my ideal's and rationale despite our upheaval from the heaven's; my status as cherub was of no exception,
Enough, I grow weary speaking of the banal, my origin hold's no relevance to your visitation,
You have been deemed "unworthy" of his grace, would you still offer your father uncontested adulation?",
Still I shall until my soul has been reduced to a mere speck of sand drifting along in the vastness of space,
My devotion remains as it was once before, unwithered even if my father denies me the grace of his hand or beauty of his face,
"Fool! Yet here you stand, in the presence of those that were deemed inglorious under the judgment from the diety in which you follow,
Into the pit's of expansive darkness, despair to whence you have never known will demoralize your words thus ensuring they ring hollow,
Have you not seen what await's your soul? Tell me, where was YOUR conscience or HIS salvation when your actions led you amiss?
Despite the repentence you sought before your demise, is it the least discomforting or astonishing that you are now in my company? In this wretched abyss."
Still you have not revealed yourself, are you a mere minion within a heirarchy, or the origin of sin?
Are you the clever protoganist that brought death and sorrow into the world, and with it, the extraction of utopia and immortality that once had been?
"Brevity would be of a great injustice in offering you the privilege of knowledge unknown to the human mind,
Demi-god's, Angel's, cherub's, and the creator alike acquired the sweet nectar of this fruit to whence your mortal path could never find,
Here many shall suffer, their cries forever to ring hollow;
they seek the very same act of mercy they denied their prey,
Ironic that they seek the benevolence in their spiritual path that in life they did not follow;
the creator in turn shunned them, his fallen children sin had led astray.
Sorrow glistens in their eyes, agony resonates profoundly in their screams; the wretched masses shall never receive rest,
My kingdom provides a sanctuary from their father's scorn; my abode cultivates their insatiable thirst for malice, let them suckle from my breast".
Shall I call you Lucifer? Satan? Is there a name befitting of a being that has planted seeds of discontent throughout the annals of time?
Books of record have documented your decension throughout countless facets; the almighty's loveliest creation lies discarded in hell, a victim to its own perverse mind,
You were created to serve at the highest order, you personally saw the face, felt the warmth, and the love of the heavenly host,
Had you not shared in that very same adoration for your creator? Had you not raised a glass amongst the angels and offered the father to all a deserved toast?
Many have labeled you an ingrate, as well as a deceptive foe to all that walk in the mortal realm as well as the spiritual plane,
Able to persuade many of the fathers' children disguised as an ally with words of manipulation aiding in poisoning the brain,
You sought to rise to dominance at the expense of your own eternal expulsion and descension, corrupted with envy and insufferable pride gave rise to your defiance,
Time will cease when the host erases all that has been created and starts anew, yet your betrayal shall resonate and be rekindled; the tale of lucifer's banishment alongside the arch-angels that had formed a wicked alliance,
"You dare speak of me in a tone tainted with contempt, what knowledge have you acquired of my beginning; Other than what you've read or has been spoken?
Would you base definitive decisions on the fallibility and impartial dictations of other's that have come before you? Then heed my words in the same token".
I know nothing of your past, present, or the events that transpired in your fall from grace,
If you were to enlighten me with your accounts I would listen attentively, applying undivided focus onto you-the benefactor of this wretched place...
"Walk amongst my presence, I shall fill your cup until you are drunk with knowledge; the wine of truth,
You will be confounded from what you shall hear regarding all life and the creator, in my words and my words only shall you find rest as a biblical sleuth".
