You've been tried in the fire,
Came forth as Gold.
dancing spirits send new love to survive.
Love from angels, our eternal souls.

Our sweet Betty, it's o.k. that you're
Another angel with never ending love.
The oldest of our sibling clan.
Six sister's, two brothers ,formed in
Dad's and mom's love.

So many loved ones checking out so close.
They're dancing on past milky way.
So sis your love is heavens song,
It's eternal and streams
from heaven this day.

Precious big sis will not fade away.
I've been to heaven but came back
with free will.
Now I write to live and share,
Sitting here on side of McCool hill.

Sis, I love you and know your love will never fade.
Always luv,

Em,

You have my deepest condolences. May your sisters breath breathe through you always.

on a side note, I think you'd like the song Trampled Rose... the version by Alison Krauss (Tom Waits did it too...as well as about a dozen others)

Stay strong,
Abraham

Emy, I don't want to sound uncaring, because I hope you know me well enough by now that I am very caring and I know it can be tough but this beautiful tribute to your sister actually made me smile a bit too. I thought of our sisters together in heaven having a coffee or something. They never knew each other in this life but perhaps, knowing we're friends here, they have met in the afterlife and have become friends there. Sort of a small world even in the huge spectrum of it all.

Much love,

Tim

Ohar dearest Emy.... I am so sorry to read of your loss. I hope and pray that you and your family are doing well under the circumstances. I have been offline for almost two weeks so now reading this and just read your e-mail also.

I had to smile at Tim's comment cuz as you know, our Moms have already met and share a cuppa every now and then...the sisters will be well taken care of...

Will talk to you soon...
Hugs and love
Jenni

Emy-
Having read so many of your poems here i feel that i know you well-
I am sorry that i have not been on in a while-
This is a close fealing for me as i have lost my grandmother recently (last year) and i know your pain as well as your trust in God to watch over her-
With this said I wish you and yours well-
Joe

I always think it's harder to write for someone so close sometimes.
We want to say so much, we want it to mean so much, we are swirling with emotions and we pray everything will come out just right.
It did, a fitting tribute.

Steve

OUR SWEET BETTY

A great tribute to your sister -- who seems just as alive as she was -- by way of your poem. A verse of pure sweet love: and from whom would I expect such? emystar; that's who.
