Its not... That's what this poem is about [bodytext] => "Was this too many?"
Well, hell, take a guess
Maybe the thing you were expecting was cardiac arrest.

Was it good? Was it great?
Are you proud you're deficient?
Or maybe its so casual that to you its consistent

I wish I was there,
I just want to assist,
But half the time you feel so strong that its me you resist

Don't tell me what happened
You'll just break my heart
I don't take pride in hearing it from the start

Of what they did,
Or what they said,
And besides, if you take too many, I don't see why you'd care...

...Because by then you're dead

Good Job! Drug addiction is a very controlling thing. I live in one of the most drugged filled towns in this Country and I have stood there watching friend after friend mess up their lives (or even die) as a result of drugs. It's very sad and I think you captured that feeling perfectly. GREAT POEM!!!

Drugs are a no-no. What is the point? They do you more harm than good. Enjoyed this.
Chris.

If you were never there you will never understand. Its not by choice after awhile its to not be sick. But like I said you can watch and see the damage from afar and judge but you will never feel the pain maybe emotional yes but the real pain of a sad worthless life wishing for death cause its easier then the drug chase as you realize the years of waste. Try reading my poem "Try these shoes on" maybe give you somne insight to how addiction is
