....aware of my goals,
....but STILL losing track of me,
....and the man I was.

....not the college guy,
....but the trustworthy young child,
....young, full of wisdom.

....Evolution I,
....into the creature who was,
....and will never be.

....loneliness crept in,
....and consumed the boy who was,
....and never will be.

....Evolution II,
....the boy who was then consumed,
....has made himself free.

....the now free boy walked,
....down the education path,
....he's knowledgeable.

....not in things of life,
....only in a single field,
....graduation time.

....Evolution III,
....I've fin-a-lly found a wife,
....and man, I love her.

....a love that stretches,
....around THIS world to the NEXT,
....and the best part is......

....about 5 more months,
....she will birth our FIRST born child,

....so much time passed by,
....I'm STILL making the attempt,
....to find who I am.

....aware of my goals,
....but STILL losing track of me,
....and the man I was.

....not the college guy,
....but the trustworthy young child,
