Array ( [sid] => 162401 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Missing Memory [time] => 2010-09-20 21:15:24 [hometext] => Sometimes memories are meant to go missing, because it's up to you to decide if you want to go exploring and finding the lost pieces. I wrote this poem as a sign of hope, but also as a sign of loneliness. [bodytext] => I've longed to remember your face in our times of joy,
But your face is a fuzzy memory to my mind.
My heart has never been touched before in my life,
And yet you came one day and you did the impossible
The near ending to my life was rejuvenated thanks to you,
But why can't my memory recollect itself and remember such events?
My memory of you has long passed through my hopes and dreams,
My memory of you is much bigger than myself
And only I wish, I could remember,
Remembering the times we held hands and talked through the days
As if nothing could stop our hearts and mind from being together,
But my memory of you has faded and my past has been forgotten.
They say leave your past behind so that you could move on,
But I say, remember our past as it guides us to our future
The future of something much more than sorrow pain and feelings,
But I can't do so because my memory of such a great event has been forgotten.
How I wish I could remember your face through the nights of the sky,
I wish the stars could form your face so that I could remember.
Our love shouldn't had been forgotten, but I have,
And I feel sorrow for such events that have occurred.
One day I will remember your face, and I'll remember those events,
But until then....
Your face is just a missing memory,
A missing memory that I long to find and remember.
