I think that i shall never see
a poem that can describe a tree,
for trees are just the grandest things
that God and Mother Nature brings.

Providing shade and fruits for all
and shelter from the winters fall,
with dappled leaves to heavens raised
from whence the rains of life cascade.

Shards of sunlight filter through
a canopy of forest hue,
and breezes make the branches sway
diffusing light in every way.

From mountains high to valleys low
in almost every place they grow,
and in every shape and size they come
a tree to please most everyone

But i think that i shall never find
sufficient words that please my mind,
for only God can make a tree
and all my thanks i give to Thee.
