Loneliness

Contributed by maverick3378 on Saturday, 18th September 2010 @ 08:57:27 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The shimmering of the diminishing sunlight,
Serving a perfect backdrop to the light drizzle,
A picture perfect for the budding painters.
The music from the ruffling of the leaves,
Entwining with the chirping of the birds,
Like the music from a playing harp.
How blessed creatures are we,
To have witnessed the Heaven being mortal souls,
Can we ask for anything more.
Yet, there is something missing,
I don't know it though.
The happiness is confined to me,
No one to share the joy with,
I am all alone.
I am overwhelmed with the majestic sight,
But am deeply saddened by the condition of my plight.
I don't wanna be here anymore,
I miss everyone whom I have never met,
I just wanna be not alone.
Loneliness is a curse,
Not overshadowed by the Heavenly views,
Killing you each and every moment.
I have endured it for I dont know how many years,
But I wanna "live" from here on.
