they noticed
a notion there. . .
unwinding from a trace of emaciated skin
where the flesh collasped, loosely in folds.
the tiny inkling crawled back down
spiraling. . .
drawn towards the darkness, where elusive meets cranium
where meager, possibly becomes art
or dreams of it
where every other colour melts into black
& silence steals the breath to escape completely
. . . to escape complexity
freedom clamours. . . belonging to some other acid-washed dream,
caressing awareness & the frothy state of neurons
rebuking the obstinate taste of synapses in the breach of what calamity birthed
such meloncholy rudiment. . . bravely whispers. . .
braves lips. . . brimming with the taste of no turning back
a sad intensity resides. . .
weeping a handful of last words
a fistful of denial
. . . no. . . no, I won't go there. . .
oh, even though. . . I could almost. . . go there. . .

I love this poem and I could get lost in it. I have read it several times and could read it several times again. I cannot pinpoint anything exactly but you already know that when I read your works they inspire me. You capture words (in my humble opinion...no not humble) with such excellence. There is a chaotic control so pure with precision when you write. It's like the words are all flying through the air like bats or moths in a frenzy, you confine them and lay them out on the page as if you own them...and you do...own them. They are yours and they succumb to that control, your commands and create art of that which is Elle.

Thank you.

Ah my dear dark Elle,
you darkness soothed me.

'weeping a handful of last words
a fistful of denial'

outstanding...................this right here hit me particularly hard:

"drawn towards the darkness, where elusive meets cranium
where meager, possibly becomes art
or dreams of it"

thank you for your words.

Yeah, what I said on my birth anniversary in 2010 still applies. Awesome.
