[hometext] => Hi, so I don't know how good this poem is, I just wrote it now and thought I'd share it as it's something I'm feeling quite strongly about at the moment.
[bodytext] => Why live in this world? It's full of people screaming, People begging for your help, Floods of tears streaming, Governments that are so corrupt, They'll obliterate the world we know, We'll witness so much war erupt, But no one will say a word, They wouldn't listen anyway, We could shout so loud but never be heard, Instead they pray to a God in paradise, A God they no longer believe in, The God that created this vice, There's children dying, Watching their parents murdered, Actually killed for crying, How can they kill over emotion? Punish someone for having a heart, Create such deadly commotion, Raping the innocent, Torturing the pure, Is this how the world was to be meant? No one cares, No one cares, No one cares, Empty stares, Possess the faces of all these people, Their hollow eyes, Pain so visibley exposed, All we need is to believe the lies, We'll be okay, We'll be okay, We'll be okay, That's what they say, But it's not true, You'll all look back, You'll realise you watched the world as it grew, But now you're watching it fall apart, Maybe none of us have a heart, Maybe we were doomed from the start.
