[time] => 2010-09-09 07:55:36 [hometext] => I love the countryside but wonder sometimes if, when I go out there with a mind full of negative thoughts, I maybe contaminate the wild places? This is one such morning. By the way floribunda is a species of Rose. [bodytext] => Sky, perfect sky,
Anointed by a yellow floribunda sun,
Cloudless blue
With a late summer bounty
And hills topped with a marzipan
Of early morning walkers.
In the woods a crow stumbles
Across his own shadow,
Astonished, he takes to the sky,
A dark silhouette throttling the silence
With each rapid beat of his wings.
The hill tops are great seals basking,
Astride foothills and lower pastures
They contemplate the blue ocean of sky.
But today, out here amongst the charm and beauty,
I feel like a mercenary.
Seeing the hills and sky through unclean eyes,
Infesting the solitude with negative thoughts,
Creating unrest with my chaotic mind,
Unrest in this place
Where only peace should prevail. Whatever is behind the eyes of those who seek to walk with Nature will be calmed and bathed until all that remains is peace, so if you have a restless and chaotic mind what better time and place to find healing

Ah, but you also write good poetry. Good poetry ADDS to the natural beauty of the world. So what if you're negative? At least you're not one of these fake people who pretend to be happy just to get girls or friends or acceptance. You're real, I think nature values that from human beings above all else.
