and starts pouring down the rain
she studies the shifting of my eyes
before feeling comfortable again
the throne he sat on was on her back
but her heart was his to hold
until he grew tired
and I'm here just to console

eventually her hands became
colder, well closer without his name
she smiled like I was the sun
and all she had seen was rain
When night would come I'd meet her there
where the seabreeze would toss her seasalt hair
Her hand was home to mine
and she said "everything's gonna be fine"

Not always fine.
Not every time.
Not ever.

But if you doubted me
If you doubted that I love you.
You can ask my friends
Or the moon you see above you
You can ask the ocean
Or the cars that we've ridden in
You can ask the shooting stars
or the girls that I've seen since
You can ask my guitar
Or my notepad, Or my Microphone
You can ask the messages
I never leave on your cell phone
You can ask everything anyone at all
You can ask a medium or ask a crystal ball
So if you ever doubted me
If you doubted that I love you.
Ask yourself, if you loved me.
Cause I know that I made you.
I can't breathe without you
Please come back.
Please.

This is very emotional! I love it. And i'm sorry that you have to face this, doubt can be surpassed though. I wish the best for you in the future and I hope that everything turns out alright in the end. Keep up the excellent writing, writing of your kind is not common and i like the unique style.

This line really jumped out at me;

'When night would come I'd meet her there
where the seabreeze would toss her seasalt hair'

Nice write and 'love' poems are normaly not my thing.

Good god, it's just heartbreaking. Reading this, you can just feel the raw pain. I'm lost at what else to say...but this is a great poem.

This is so inspiring and moving. I'm sorry that you have to go through this but what a beauty it radiates when emotions unfold. Keep on writing, and thank you for sharing.
