never back
seasons change
never the same as the last
peolple are the same as time and the seasons
we can only move forword
dwelling on the past never did any good
people change year by year, day by day
you see people leave
then they will come back as some one brand new
they may seem the same as they were before
but you can see it in their eyes
you can hear it in their talk
you can tell it by how they hold themselves
when you first come to greet them
after all the time you have been apart
you can tell that they are not who they once were
you also notice that there are some things that have stayed the same
you tell this by what they have to say
their morals and beliefs still stand strong
but yet their old outlook on life is nearly gone
the friends they had may be eraced or have been replaced
but the people that had helped guid and shape their life
they will never be forgotten
such as the family that was always there
the best friend when no one else seemed to care
or the church when they were troubled and in need of prayer
they may not be the same as when they left
but that's ok it might all turn out for the best
