I am only fragments of me
Like a necklace of pearls without the chain and less iridescent
I am missing the glue that keeps me together
If the outside world never saw me again, it would not notice
Why be part of a world you cannot trust.
I will remain forever fragmented inside my own world
With no one to help me or hurt me

Trust is the key. If there's no trust, then there's no possibly of human relationships being formed. I can empathize very strongly with this poem, my trust of the outside world stands roughly around zero.
