Array ( [sid] => 162055 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Diary [time] => 2010-08-28 13:29:44 [hometext] => I don't know what you'll think of this but it's just a poem about how I feel invisible sometimes. [bodytext] => I'm fighting for control
and every time I lose
have a flick through my diary
its pages you may peruse

But my diary it is different
and very strange indeed
for most when they write a diary
they do not often bleed

My diary's not written on paper
you'll find it in no bin
I carry it with me always
I carry it on my skin

For every little sorrow
every day in hell
I cut my own skin open
and the drops of blood they fell

Count up my misfortunes
count up every one
and present them to the court of justice
when judgment day shall come

And let's see if the punish
all those who let me be
who didn't take the time to notice
what the world was doing to me

Who walked by me
almost every single day
and didn't bother asking
will you be okay

But it doesn't matter anyway
for even if they did
I'd say oh yes I'm fine indeed
don't worry please I'd bid

But as they walked away I'd whisper
I lied oh please do stop
I'm not okay, I never am
but query they did not

My life is gone it's too late for me
but other need your help
don't walk away I beg of you
don't lose the regret you felt [comments] => 4 [counter] => 359 [topic] => 72 [informant] => Evanescencefreak [notes] => Corrected spelling as requested ~ Moderator_18 Aug 28, 2010 [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => self-harmpoetry )

I love this poem, and I agree that we all have a journal or diary with us always, some more descriptive and detailed than others. You have a great talent for imagery! Good job!
