a masked being walking beneath the moon
Spending another silent night in the woods
I Never said it was gonna be good

Its never been bad, but its always been true
And when you realize that you begin
you cut it of cause you cant see through
and its to much for you to take on the chin

Now theres a masked being in your place
Instead of eyes of peace and lips of tranquil
an angry relentless mask has taken your face
with its cold and evil star from a cold and empty hill

you tell yourself that you had to do it
you had to close the gate
and seal yourself in the pit
the only way you could decide your faith.

Very deep yet clear. Beautiful words whose meaning does not get lost in the diction.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
