as we slip into a dream
forsake the same reality
it’s never as it seems

where the picture’s never faded
swaying trees and greener grass
the sands of time do not escape here
in the future’s present past

take my hand and come here
where tomorrow never waits
it plays into the moment
and it exes out the dates

where it all works out together
endless fields and skies untamed
while the scenery always changes
the love and laughter stays the same

in a place we visit often
where your thought’s are left concealed
yet it’s here you feel the safest
when reality’s less real

and it hurts for you to leave it
while you curse the rising sun
as you revel in the memories
of the things you’ve never done

I love your poetry : ) it is skillful, and has emotion behind it. I like the line about cursing the rising sun. A very clever poem to say you wish time would go by slower.
