Array ( [sid] => 16179 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Can't you [time] => 2003-04-17 22:25:00 [hometext] => I wrote this poem for my b/f Ashley when she was upset with me. I gave it to her so that she could better understand how I feel about our friendship. We'll I thought that I would share this poem with you, though it isn't my best I hope you all enjoy! [bodytext] => Can't you see the hurt in my eyes
Can you not feel my pain
Do you know that a tear drops
Everytime I hear your name

I was supposed to be the strong one
I was supposed to be able to fight back those tears
But the mere thought of losing my best friend can cause even the strongest to just crumble inside
Can't you see the hurt in my eyes
Can you not feel my pain
Do you know that losing you is a fear,
That I would never like to face

My thoughts are all jumbled together and I don't know the right words to say
The right words to make everything magically all better again
All I can express is how I feel
and it's like I am being ripped apart from the inside
But can't you see the hurt in my eyes
Can you not feel my pain
Do you know that I hurt deep down, and that I only want to be reunited with my best friend

Can't you see what this is doing to me
Can you not feel my pain
Don't you know how much I love you and
That only you can take away this pain

I lost my best friend almost 3 years ago now, and it was the hardest, most painful thing I've ever gone through in my life. I'd hate to see anybody go through what I went through for almost 2 years, until I was finally able to let her go and move on. I hope you work things out and you never have to experience what I did. Blessed be,

~ Moonlit Angel
