THE SILHOUETTE OF LIFE.(DUSK)

Contributed by andrewjones12 on Tuesday, 10th August 2010 @ 10:48:48 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Once upon a vision’s edge....

The silhouette of life stains
topaz red.

Perpetually stalking sideways,
atop this side less sphere.

Taunting
from north to south,
it finds agony
In mediums never near.

Parallel to farther than perceived,
It begs hopelessly for
collisions appease.

Continuously a ray
From a point ill conceived.

Its confusion befalls
upon incomprehensive disbelief.

Weeping sorrowful of its setting moment of lust.

When dawn’s welcoming wakeful touch,
sets somberly
Slipping through its lanky clutch.

As cold betrays warmth
Into

dusk.

very beautiful composition... And what an end "as cold betrays warmth into dusk"... Mesmerizing indeed...
