It so endless like the seven seas
It takes over you and don’t let go of you
Until you break free from the fears that be

Time after time you try to escape
That black man in the cape
He grips you in the night
And all you feel is the fright
Of being sucked into the trap
Of being alone

Being alone is so bland
You walk alone in the sand
Asking yourself why are you so alone
You don’t have a place to call home

Everyone has left you and you feel so deserted
It’s been told that it’s all in your mind
But it’s not because you can’t find
That free place in time that only you can define

The place of joy and happiness
But you are sucked into the place of so much sadness
It is so hard to get out
It makes you want to shout
But you try so hard to kick and scream

But nobody knows the troubles that be
Inside of me
In the night in the dark
That dreary place when I’m all alone
Trying so hard to find the place I call home.

Really like your poem, it's so true and honest. I think some people can feel even more alone in a crowded room.
